Basil Chicken Strips

Cook time 10 minutes

Ingredients:
12 ounces of chicken strips
1/2 TBSP kosher salt
​1/2 TBSP black peppercorns
​1 TBSP basil (if from a bottle) 1/2 ounce chopped if fresh
3 TBSP margarine

​1.Pre-heat the cast iron skillet on the stove. Turn on to high
2. Clean off the chicken and pat dry
​3. Put the salt, peppercorns and basil in a bowl and mix
​4. Add the chicken to the seasoning and toss together
​5. Turn down the burner with the skillet to medium and add the margarine. Coat the entire skillet
​6. Add the chicken, cook 4 minutes on each side (5 minutes if thicker)
​7. Internal temp should be at least 170-175 degrees.
​8. Remove from heat, place on a rack to let any grease drain off.
​9. Plate and serve
