Ingredients: 12 ounces of chicken strips 1/2 TBSP kosher salt 1/2 TBSP black peppercorns 1 TBSP basil (if from a bottle) 1/2 ounce chopped if fresh 3 TBSP margarine
1.Pre-heat the cast iron skillet on the stove. Turn on to high 2. Clean off the chicken and pat dry 3. Put the salt, peppercorns and basil in a bowl and mix 4. Add the chicken to the seasoning and toss together 5. Turn down the burner with the skillet to medium and add the margarine. Coat the entire skillet 6. Add the chicken, cook 4 minutes on each side (5 minutes if thicker) 7. Internal temp should be at least 170-175 degrees. 8. Remove from heat, place on a rack to let any grease drain off. 9. Plate and serve
